Logan Andrew West, an 18-year-old man from Ravenna Township, Ohio, has been arrested for allegedly raping his girlfriend’s 15-month-old baby, KCTV 5 reports.
West was arraigned on Monday
Local police were called to a home in Ravenna Township on Saturday to tend to an injured 15-month-old baby girl. After the baby was taken to Robinson Memorial Hospital, she was transferred to Akron Children’s Hospital because of the severety of her injuries.
During the investigation, it was learned that the baby experienced trauma that appears to be the result of sexual assault.
West is being held by authorities on a $500,000 bond.
