It’s time for kids to go back to school! Radio One, in conjunction with Chase Media is rolling out the 3rd Annual Back 2 School Kuts For Kids Program. Last year was a huge success with over 400 kids receiving free haircuts, wash & sets and school supplies. This year, we’re proud to announce that we’re going to do it again.
We will offer free haircuts for boys, wash & sets for girls, school supplies, live music, celebrity appearances and vendors. There will also be an appearance by two-time NBA champion Josh Powell. And since this is an important election year, we will also include the Chase Media voter registration initiative “Swing The Vote,” which is a movement to get all eligible North Carolina residents registered to vote.
Kuts For Kids will kick-off in Raleigh on Wednesday, August 22nd from 12pm-2pm at Paul’s Barbershop & Tiffany’s Beauty Gestures located at 1030 N. Rogers Lane. The program will be in Durham on Thursday, August 23rd from 12pm-2pm at 40 Below Barbershop located at 2000 Chapel Hill Rd.
