Actor Michael Clark Duncan was hospitalized in Los Angeles today after suffering a heart attack. According to doctors, Michael Clarke Duncan suffered a myocardial infarction early this morning. He is now stable and his publicist says he’s looking forward to a full recovery.
The 54-year-old actor was found in a state of cardiac arrest around 2:00 a.m. PT, by his girlfriend Omarosa Stallworth, who performed CPR and resuscitated Duncan.
Duncan was nominated for both an Oscar and a Golden Globe for his breakout role in the 1999 prison drama “The Green Mile.” Known for his towering height and burly frame, Duncan stars in the FOX TV show” The Finder.” He also has had roles in “Daredevil,” “Sin City,” and “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.”
