Registration is open for the Living Healthy With Diabetes series that starts on June 26 at the Johnston County Public Health Department. This program assists persons with various chronic health conditions manage their conditions successfully.
This free, six-week program helps participants learn the skills and tools to better manage chronic conditions so they can take charge and enjoy a better quality of life. The Johnston County sessions will run from 9:30 am until 12:00 noon on consecutive Tuesdays: June 26 and July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. Participants are encouraged to attend all six sessions. All sessions will be offered at the Johnston County Public Health Department, 517 Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield. To register, call Kimetha Elliott, 919.989.5200.
