Out-of-work professionals interested in sharpening their skills to become more competitive in today’s job market should mark their calendars now for a free workshop next week designed specifically for adult professionals.
The Professional Placement Network is hosting “What Are You Worth? Understanding the Value of the Job Offer,” a workshop that will cover what the full value of a job offer is worth including benefits, how to calculate a job offer, and determining your worth as a future employee.
The workshop will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Durham/Chapel Hill, located at 5310 McFarland Dr., Durham. It will be taught by Beth Ryan with Duke University’s Continuing Studies Program―Human Resource Management. Light refreshments and door prizes will be provided.
