Police have been using this technology for years, but in the hands of the average Joe this is kind of creepy and an invasion of privacy. How would you react if a stranger took an image of your face, and would know everything about you in a matter of seconds? Google’s facial app is currently in development to do just that. It’s a facial recognition app that will allow you to take a photo of someone, match the photo in that person’s Google profile, and then return that person’s contact information to you. Of course, users would have to sign up to the service first. Big brother is watching.
