Two Durham County children have the first confirmed cases of the seasonal flu, according to the North Carolina Division of Public Health.
“These results remind us that influenza is a year-round problem,” said State Public Health Director Jeff Engel. “It also confirms that it is not too early to get immunized against flu.”
Health officials did not provide further details about the recent flu cases.
