Bremerton City Councilwoman Leslie Daugs was apprehended on Tuesday following an outburst at Sen. Jeff Sessions’ confirmation hearing.

The only witness who agreed to testify recanted her statement, saying she did not actually see Pinkston and only identified him because that was "the word on the street."

The student was charged with criminally negligent homicide following a fight between her and Joyner-Francis, as well as two other 16-year-old girls, who also have not been named because they are juveniles.

Police charged three teens in the school bathroom beating death of Amy Joyner-Francis. The medical examiner said the assault triggered a pre-existing heart condition that caused her death.
