Tuition at Duke University is going up nearly 4 percent. The school’s trustees approved an increase for undergraduate tuition, and room and board. Next year it will cost nearly 57,000 to attend the university. About 40 percent of students now receive need-based financial aid, which includes grants, loans and work-study opportunities.

It’s another day of increases at the gas pump. Nationwide, prices have gone up for the past 21 days straight. The national average for a gallon of unleaded is $3.72.
