Kitty Kelley who is widely known as an intense investigative journalist interviewed 800 different people for her research and worked endless for four years to complete this book. It’s stock full of unsavory characteristic flaws, and questionable diva like behaviors by Ms. Winfrey. Kelley who has never been shy about targeting high profile celebrities and politicans has also featured past subjects that have included Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra, Nancy Reagan, the British Royal Family, and the Bush family.

Although Kelley does have a history on being debated on her version of the truths and has been accused of libel, the book due out today already ranks No. 19 on the Amazon.com best sellers list based on pre-orders. Winfrey spokeswoman Angela DePaul said Saturday that Oprah was not commenting on the highly anticipated book.

One thing for sure the book is going to be juicy. An exclusive excerpt from Kitty Kelley‘s upcoming tell-all Oprah Winfrey biography claims the talk-show queen enjoyed a 1970s romance with an unlikely live-in lover: John Tesh. The two shared an apartment in Nashville until the pressures of being in an interracial relationship made Tesh throw in the towel. According to The NY Daily News Kelley accounts of the events are that the “social pressure” on an interracial couple in Tennessee at that time proved too much for Tesh to handle. “He said one night he looked down and saw his white body next to her black body and couldn’t take it anymore,” another Tesh ex-paramour told Kelley. “He walked out in the middle of the night. … He told me he later felt very guilty about it.” So will you or will you not buy the book?
