Last night’s episode of Blackish was amazing. It captured EXACTLY what people felt about the election, regardless of whose side you were on. And it mirrored EXACTLY what we heard in our real lives. We heard the blaming of Black people for not voting the way we did for Barack, we heard the blaming of White women for not supporting one of their own.

It’s like the writers of Blackish have been monitoring our Facebook posts, tweets and conversations at the dinner table.

But the most memorable part of the episode WENT ALL THE WAY THERE as Anthony Anderson’s character, Dre, was asked why he wasn’t engaging in the political back-and-forth with his co-workers.

Dre’s boss asked, “Don’t you care about what’s happening to this country?”
