An investigation is underway after a video posted to Twitter Tuesday, shows a Rolesville police officer picking up a female student and slamming her to the floor. The student, Jasmine Darwin said she was trying to break up a fight between her sister and another student when the officer came from behind and slammed her to the ground. The mother of the young girl says she’s keeping her daughter home from school because she suffered a concussion.

Ruben De Los Santos, a member of the Rolesville Police Department has been a resource officer at the school for four years, is now on paid administrative leave.

Do you think excessive force was used?
