Ms. Hughes has helped to continue to raise the bar of execution and professionalism set by her dad Mr. William Alfred-Woods who was the first African-American to graduate from Creighton University with a degree in accounting and her musically gifted mother Mrs. Helen Jones Woods who was a trombonist. With gifted parents it’s no reason why Ms Hughes has made her way to even having a street named after her in DC! A positive example of class and elegance and is a true shero to many!
