President Obama returns to North Carolina to campaign for Hillary Clinton today. He’ll speak around 2p.m. on the campus of UNC Chapel Hill, at the Michael Hooker Fields open to the public at 12:30p.m,. NC native James Taylor will perform at the rally.
Chapel Hill Transit is advising customers to expect schedule delays and detours because of the president’s visit. Security will close South Road, from Raleigh Street to Country Club Road, from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. Other street closures and detours may occur throughout the day.
