Long lines and high prices at the pump continue to plague North Carolina. Colonial Pipe line leaders tell NC state emergency officials that they expect to have the by-pass pipeline to be built by mid to late week.
Also, frustrations continue to grow at area gas station, some are completely out of gas while others are rationing gas and limiting purchases to fifteen dollars per customer.
The governor’s office warns consumers to be aware of price gouging and to report it through the Consumer Protection Division website or by calling 1-877-5-NO-SCAM toll-free in North Carolina or 919-716-6000.
