Everyone is excited about Rihanna’s MTV Video Vanguard performance on Sunday, especially Drake.

The rapper who’s made no secret of his love for the 28-year-old songstress gave a grand gesture on Friday, with a billboard congratulating Riri. “Congratulations to Rihanna from Drake and Everyone at OVO,” it reads.

Soon after seeing it, she posted a photo of it with the caption, “When he extra”.

The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award will honor the singer for her outstanding achievements on and off the stage, specifically through her Clara Lionel Foundation named after her grandmother who passed away in 2012 from cancer, and her grandfather.

As reported by BET News, the Clara Lionel Foundation has raised hundreds of thousands to assist cancer patients, in addition to the millions Rihanna has personally raised herself. Rihanna is on track to raise over $40 million for HIV/AIDS alone. She also personally donated a new radio therapy machine to the oncology department of the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Barbados.

“It’s as simple as this: one day you could be the one,” Rihanna said in an interview. “Your kids, your kids’ kids, your loved ones, nobody’s exempt from disease and poverty. You just never know, but we will fight for you.”

Rihanna is joining the ranks of Kanye West, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Beastie Boys, Britney Spears, Madonna, and Michael Jackson when she receives her award this weekend.
