During the 2016 Olympics in Rio, gymnast Gabby Douglas was constantly criticized. When social media got out of control with mean tweets, fans of Gabby stepped in with #LOVE4GABBYUSA. She’s proved that when people act out on social media, she rises above the criticism.
Gabby came away with a team gold medal, and will be a judge at the Miss America 2017 pageant. She’ll be in Atlantic City for the final round of competition, which will be broadcast live on Sunday, Sept. 11 on ABC.
