The sexual assault case against legendary comedian Bill Cosby will go to trial. The judge ruled, after finding enough evidence in a preliminary hearing after Cosby was first accused of sexual misconduct nearly a decade ago.
He’s charged with assaulting former Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia mansion in 2004, and faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
Constand did not testify in court, and was put on blast by Cosby’s attorney for refusing to make her testify.
Instead, they chose to rely on an 11-year-old hearsay statement from that witness, riddled with numerous corrections and inconsistencies
