Video: Mayor Of New York And Hillary Clinton Make A CP Time Joke

Bill de Blasio, the mayor of New York, made a joke about CP time with Hillary Clinton at a charity event over the weekend. The event benefitted Inner Circle and included comedy skits and musical numbers performed by politicians, according to ABC News.
The CP time “joke” occurred during a skit featuring De Blasio and Leslie Odom Junior from the Broadway hit Hamilton. Clinton was a surprise guest in the skit.
De Blasio explained the joke later. “It was clearly a staged show. It was a scripted show. The whole idea was to do the counter-intuitive by saying cautious politician time. Every actor thought it was a joke on a different convention. That was the whole idea,” he said. “I think people are missing the point here.”
De Blasio is married to a Black woman.
