So, NOBODY saw this as a bad idea??
An Arkansas high school held an assembly focused on gangs and drugs and ONLY invited Black students. You can’t make this stuff up. The district said the assembly was part of court-ordered desegragation efforts to create programs focused on minorities.
In hindsight, the school regrets is decision, according to a statement from The Pulaski County Special School District:
“The Pulaski County Special School District regrets that this inspirational program was not made available to all students and in the future will work to ensure that when outside speakers are brought into a school that all students are included.”
