The Queen of Thursday night drama Shonda Rhimes has promoted Joe Morton to a series regular on Scandal. Morton first joined Scandal in season 2 as the mysterious leader of the shady black ops organization known as B613.

His character Rowan (also known as Eli Pope), the father of Olivia (Kerry Washington) is the primary antagonist on the show, in other words he keeps “ish” going. His outstanding performance as the villainous Eli Pope earned him an Emmy award for best supporting actor in 2014.
