Students enjoyed a day off from school on Friday, but with missed school days come make-up days. Wake County and Durham County school systems have announced school make-up days after classes and weekend activities were canceled due to the wintry mix of ice and snow.
*Traditional-calendar students in Wake and Durham County will now have classes on Monday, Feb. 15, which is President’s Day.
*Wake County year-round students in tracks 1, 2 and 3 will now have classes on Saturday, April 2. Year-round students in track 4 will not have to make up the day because school was not in session last week.
