Just in time for the holiday season, retail giant Sam’s Club is opening its members-only doors at 7am on Saturday, November 14th, for the lowest prices of the year.

Tracey Brown, the SVP Chief Member Officer of Sam’s Club and she talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about the importance of developing relationships with members, special holiday deals and honoring Veterans with a special project.

“I’m responsible for all of the members that are members of the Sam’s Club. I bring them into the club, engaging them, getting the value that they have and doing all the marketing a communications to retain them. I’m responsible for making sure they have a good time as members,” Brown said.

In addition to offering exclusive deals to it’s dedicated shoppers, Sam’s and Walmart are also a big supporter of Veterans. Their program, Greenlight A Vet, encourages others show their support by changing one light to green in a visible location-on your porch, in your home, or at your office-and keep it glowing as a symbol of appreciation.

“It’s a fantastic campaign. Walmart has been investing and taking Veterans very seriously. I’m very proud to be associated with all that we’re doing to Veterans into the workforce…not only our goal of bringing 250,000 veterans into the Sam’s Club, but also very proud of the Greenlight program as well.”
