A controversial party held after “Diversity Week,” is causing quite a stir among students at NC State University. A party held off campus involved a theme, “CMT vs. BET”. Party goers were urged to attend dressed to parody country music culture and black culture.

The 2015 NC State fair is over and the official attendance for all eleven days is more than one million people, making this year’s fair the second most attended.
The North Carolina ABC Commission will hold an alcohol serving training course in Chapel Hill today. The course hopes to help bars and restaurants prepare for Halloween festivities this weekend in Chapel Hill. It’s all part of an effort to control underage drinking in the college town.
