Thousands of armed national guard members have taken position as tensions continue to rise following the death of Freddie gray. Rioters looted stores, set cars on fire and hurled cinder blocks at fire trucks as they responded to emergencies. Close to thirty arrest were made at least 15 officers injured — six seriously. A week-long curfew is now imposed starting Tuesday night from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Several families are homeless this morning after a fire tore through a row of houses in Durham overnight. Neighbors says a fire broke out last night and then rekindle overnight. The fire happened on Rippling Stream Road at least three units were severely damage
Moore square in Raleigh is getting a much-needed upgrade. The park located in the heart of downtown h has been neglected for years. There’s a proposal for a water feature, cafe and natural play area for children. Residents can make recommendations tomorrow at 2 p.m. at City Market. Renovations could begin as early as next year.
