The upcoming Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao matchup is being dubbed the “fight of the century,” and boxing fans are making sure they’ll be there to witness history. Tickets to the fight, which were released at 3:00 p.m. on the Ticketmaster and MGM websites yesterday, were sold out within 30 seconds. “I’m sure people were lined up to order those tickets online and in the queues,” said Manny Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum. “They couldn’t wait for the tickets to finally go on sale.” The ticket prices ranged from $1,500 to $7,500. Jay Z and Beyonce Releasing Joint Album on Tidal?

After news broke that Jay Z’s Tidal app was struggling, his team is reportedly hard at work trying to figure out how to get things back on track. The Brooklyn-bred rapper will allegedly team up with his wife Beyoncé to release a joint album through the music streaming app. For the past few months, there have been rumors about an album being in the works. “When you think of Jay and Bey together, you think ‘album.’ You should already know,” said producer Detail. Religious Leaders Refute Bill That Would Test Impoverished People for Drugs

Gov. Scott Walker (R) recently proposed a bill that would allow the government to drug test people who are receiving government assistance. Many religious leaders in Wisconsin have teamed up to refute the bill, claiming it isn’t fair for those who are living in poverty. “In our respective religious traditions poverty and joblessness are not indicators of bad character,” read the letter penned by the religious leaders. “We do not believe it is just to craft policies that punish those who face these trials while also suffering from the illness of addiction. Nor is it fair to treat those who seek employment, health and nutritional assistance differently than those who need financial help with educational costs, starting a business or obtaining child care.” Read more.
