NC State is back in the Sweet 16, topping Number 1 seed Villanova 71-68 on Saturday night, the late coach Jim Valvano is giving high-fives up in heaven right now.
But check out this viral video, it captures the ups and downs of the Big Dance on the road to the championship. The cameras cut to a Villanova band member whose face is filled with tears. She was a super trooper though, and kept playing her piccolo through the heartbreak loss.
NC State will go on to play the winner of Louisville-Northern Iowa game in the Sweet 16.
