Can you imagine finding out that you’re pregnant and then giving birth one hour later?
It happened to Katherine Kropas. And not only did she not know she was pregnant, she was pregnant with a TEN POUND BABY. According to the Washington Post, Kropas was on birth control, continued to have menstrual cycles and never experienced morning sickness. She did have swollen feet, but she thought that was because she spent a lot of time standing at her catering job.
Kropas arrived at the hospital complaining of sever back and stomach pains. They told her she was pregnant. The full-term baby was delivered b C-section one hour later.
While rare, these “cryptic” pregnancies are more common than you would think.
