Join Durham-Area McDonald’s and NC Central University as they celebrate a Day of Service. North Carolina Central University football and women’s basketball teams will be in uniform serving local customers and fans under the Golden Arches on Nov. 17 and Nov. 24. They will assume the roles and responsibilities of McDonald’s crew during the school’s annual Day of Service, which will include working the drive-thru, front counter and greeting customers.
• Monday, Nov. 17 – NC Central Football Team will serve lunch from 11:30a.m. – 1:30p.m. at McDonald’s on 3844 S. Roxboro St. and 1010 N. Miami Blvd. in Durham.
• Monday, Nov. 24 – NC Central Women’s Basketball Team will split up to serve breakfast from 7:30a.m. – 9:30a.m. at McDonald’s on 3844 S. Roxboro St. and 1010 N. Miami Blvd. in Durham.
Customers who stop by either location for lunch on Monday, 11/17, will also have the chance to win two tickets to NCCU’s Football season closer against NC A&T on Saturday, 11/22. Kevin Wilson, NCCU Director of Athletic said, “This is the second year we’ve partnered with McDonald’s and appreciate the support our local owner/operator, Keith Manning has provided. We’re excited to continue this partnership and serve our community members their meals with a smile,”
