The Durham Business & Professional Chain (The Chain) will honor eight accomplished and deserving Triangle entrepreneurs, November 20, 2014,12:00 pm – 2:00 pm, Sitar Indian Cuisine, 3630 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd. The Chain is Durham’s oldest African-American business advocacy organization, with seventy seventh years of service to the business and professional community.
The Chain recognizes the accomplishments, ability and talent of eight honorees — Contonna and Darius Peterson (New Business Award), Ed Mitchell (New Business Award), Marilyn Cash (Business Development Award), Michele Bowen (Business Development Award), Audrey and Sam Sellars (Business Longevity Award) and Kenneth Edmonds (Business Longevity Award).
