There Is No Ebola At Duke Hospital
According to WRAL, the patient at Duke University Hospital who recently traveled from Liberia to the U.S. and developed a fever does NOT have Ebola. Another test will be performed in the next 72 hours.
The person flew into Newark on Friday and took a bus from New Jersey to Person County. The patient developed the fever on Sunday. The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services said in a statement this morning the patient will continue to be interviewed regarding close contacts, activities and travel and that precautionary control measures remain in effect even though officials believe the risk of exposure to others is “extremely low.”
