I realized this morning that I’m the parent who agreed to provide snacks for the Halloween party at school. And the snacks have to be healthy, so I can’t pick up a package of mini cupcakes decorated like pumpkins from the grocery store. So, I headed over to Pinterest and put together a bunch of scary snack ideas that the kids will enjoy looking at and (hopefully) eating!
Please note: These are ideas for parents who don’t want to spend a lot of time or money on these snacks. Don’t judge me!
1. Bananas with chocolate chips and tangerines with a small stick of celery coming out of the top.
2. All you need is blackberries, cantaloupe and skewers!
3. All you need are fruit cups and a magic marker.
4. Apples wrapped in bandages with googly eyes from the craft section. Instant mummy!
5. Grapes, marshmallows, cups with lids and a marker!
6. Cantaloupe, marshmallow and kiwi, icing and skewers.
7. Get all of this in the craft area…except for the grapes, of course.
8. Goldfish, bags, string, marker.
