Texas Southern & Central State Meet In Bahamas For MEAC/SWAC Game In September
The TJMS talks to Jeff Rodgers, (Bahamas Tourism) and Curtis Symonds (founder of HBCUX) about the MEAC/SWAC game between Texas Southern University and Central State University on September 13th in Nassau, Bahamas.
“We carved out this idea of bring ing a black college football game to the islands. We wanted to also bring education here,” Symonds says.
So just how many people are expected to be in the Bahamas?
“We’ve got 700 islands in the Bahamas and we’ve got folks from all over coming,” Rodgers said.
