You may have recently heard about a security breach at Michaels stores. Well, looks like local stores in our area were affected.

According to WNCN, all of the stores in the Triangle were impacted by the breach. This includes the stores in Raleigh, Cary, Garner, Durham, Knightdale, Greenville, Southern Pines, New Bern and Burlington.
Michaels Stores said yesterday that about 7 percent of all debit and credit cards used at its namesake stores may have been affected.
