Just when you thought winter was over, Winter Storm Titan has other ideas. Rain across the triangle will change to a wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain between 1PM AND 3PM. Cold arctic air, will follow on the heels of the wintry mix this afternoon in
Chapel Hill and Durham around 1pm and in Raleigh and Wake Forest around 2PM, and in Pittsboro and Garner around
3PM.
Expect temperatures to fall into the 20’s after 5PM, look for icy spots on areas roads especially bridges and overpasses. Use caution as travel conditions are expected to become more hazardous this afternoon.
