It’s a great weekend at the movies. Depending on your age and movie preference, there’s probably something for you. Chris Brown and Laz Alonso heat up “Battle of the Year” and Hugh Jackman and Terence Howard both Oscar nominees along with Viola Davis get to do some serious acting in the gritty “Prisoners,” which is about abduction, not jail. On HBCU front, the football classics are poppin’ this weekend in Wilmington, Delaware and in Columbia, South Carolina.

It’s Congressional Black Caucus Weekend. Lots of activities including Sybil’s panel with Komen for the Cure, and producer TJMS producer Deya Direct will be a part of the Author Pavilion today with her book Touch Yourself, 30 Ways to Boldly Live, Love & Let Go!  The Black Party is tonight with host MC Lyte and DJ Big Tigger and the Prayer Breakfast tomorrow morning features Rev. Marvin Sapp – morning message and Anthony Brown with the Musical Ministry
