Wake County Public Libraries will launch a new series of librarian-led book discussions in September. The discussion groups are open to the general public and feature a menu of options in each location. Choices, as selected by the librarians, might include Genres (Mystery, Romance, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Inspirational or African American), Non Fiction on a variety of topics, Literary Fiction (both contemporary and classic) and Popular General Fiction. The discussions will be hosted monthly with the exception of April, August, and December. Over 21 discussion dates and times are available to choose from at the six Regional Libraries and the Express Library on Fayetteville Street.
Check the library events calendar www.wakegov.com/libraries/events or call the library of interest for themes, titles, and times for these new book discussions or to request a copy of the book. The Library will reserve 15 copies of each title to facilitate each discussion and will have additional copies in general circulation.
