Aida, a sensational tale of war, romance, and intrigue that spans the gates of Thebes and the banks of the Nile comes to the triangle. The opera features soprano Angela Brown in the role as Aida, with performances Friday, May 3 8pm at Memorial Hall, in Chapel Hill and Sunday May 5, 3pm at Meymandi concert Hall in Raleigh. Ms Brown takes time out to talk about her start in opera and how to appreciate the art form.
