Shanahan says “We’re 99.9% sure Skins will select RG III”
Washington Washington Football Teamcoach Mike Shanahan strongly implied that the team will take Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III with the second overall pick in the NFL draft.
“Nothing’s a 100 percent yet, so I’ve got to say 99.9 (percent)” Shanahan said about selecting Griffin at a pre-draft news conference Wednesday.
“If you guys are right, we’re taking RG3,” Shanahan said, joking with reporters.
