The lives of two young people were cut very short due to an accident at an intersection in Cary two weeks ago. It happened to Martikia Adams 22 of Raleigh and Brian Cobb 26 of Cary. Cary police said that the driver was in excess of 67 miles per hour going through the intersection and that if she had been going the proper speed limit that the accident would have likely never happened. Cary traffic engineers say that the intersection doesn’t meet he criteria for a traffic light saying that there have not been enough accidents there to justify one.
