From actresses to editors to directors, 928 people were invited into the Motion Picture Academy’s class of 2018 as a means to diversify it’s membership. And that they did with 38 percent of invitees being people of color and 49 percent women. So from Jada Pinkett Smith to Regina Hall to Jenifer Lewis, here are 15 Black women who made it into this coveted club. Congrats
