On December 18, the Los Angeles Lakers honored Kobe Bryant by retiring both of his jerseys, #8 and #24. The ceremony took place during halftime as the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors faced off. Bryant was celebrated by his family, fans and former teammates–cementing his legacy as NBA royalty. He is the first NBA player to have two jerseys retired.
