But eventually, it was time to rap the song fans had been waiting for, ‘Not Like Us,’ which cemented his win in the beef against
Drake.
Lamar teased the song several times with the help of
Samuel L. Jackson, dressed as Uncle Sam to continue the patriotic theme. At one point, K. Dot plays the beat for a second as he has a back-and-forth with the background dancers, saying, “I want to perform their favorite song, but you know they love to sue,” with a smile on his face.
Then, he eventually played the song, as fans waited to see which lyrics he’d omit out of fear of being censored. He neglected to say ‘certified pedophile but had a devilish grin when he said, “Say Drake, I hear you like them young,” while staring into the camera. He also said the “A minor” that the stadium echoed even
louder than the Grammys.
