The streaming world has grown so large that the kids have started beefing.
Streamers Kai Cenat and Adin Ross used to be close and were often spotted together, so many assumed they had a falling out. However, during a recent stream, Cenat clarified the rumors.
“I got nothing but respect for Adin. I ain’t never had a problem with Adin. Adin is my brother,” he begins. “Just because n-ggas don’t see n-ggas streaming and etcetera, doesn’t mean I don’t f-ck with the n-gga.”
But for members of the chat who thought something was driving a wedge between their friendship, you’re right.
Cenat’s cool with Ross, but not his manager, Taav. Cenat explains that Taav once called him at 4 a.m., asking him to come to Ross’ birthday party later that evening, promising him to get him a private jet.
Cenat says the first red flag from Taav was “drunk or something, out of his mind” and said if Ross keeps losing millions in sports betting, he’ll leave the crew and join the FaZe clan.
However, the worst came when Taav allegedly repeatedly used the N-word when discussing Cenat’s brand deals.
“Taav is a white man, by the way. He proceeds to say ‘From Nike to McDonald’s, but bro keep it real, bro. N-gga a chicken Big Mac n-gga? A chicken Big Mac n-gga?” Cenat recalls the conversation. “He on my phone calling me the N-word at 4 in the morning.”
Cenat says that he thought about yelling at Taav but decided not to give the situation any more energy. And despite wanting to immediately tell Ross he didn’t want to ruin his birthday celebration, and knows what it’s like to lose an integral part of your squad to some controversy.
However, he did eventually deliver the news to him.
“I told Adin. I said, ‘bro, the reason I’ve been distancing myself is because [of Taav allegedly using the N-word], and I should have told you, but with my mental state, I wasn’t in that mode,” Cenat said.
He also reveals that they’ve grown apart because his community has never really been a fan of him.
“Anyone who’s been a part of this community, since 2021, since the comparisons started, knows your community doesn’t f-ck with me. And that’s the truth,” he ends the topic.
Ross has since responded to the allegations by calling his manager while streaming and asking him about the Cenat call.
“I don’t remember. This was last year at your birthday, after we did your birthday. I don’t remember most of– If I did, I’m sorry. I don’t mean anything f-cking bad about it,” his manager said.
