The former NFL player and longtime sports media personality was arrested in Florida on July 4 on a domestic battery charge tied to an alleged incident involving his estranged wife, Annemarie Wiley, a former cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. According to reports citing court and police records, the arrest came after an alleged confrontation at an Orlando-area hotel while the family was in town for a basketball tournament. Wiley has denied the allegations related to the incident, and the case is still playing out in court.

According to reports on the arrest affidavit, Annemarie told police that Marcellus allegedly threatened to kill her and physically confronted her in front of one of their children. She reportedly accused him of poking her forcefully in the cheek during the incident and told authorities she feared for her safety.
