Tyra Banks Admits She’ll Eat Crumbs from Her Bed and Floor Days Later
Tyra Banks is known for keeping it real, and her latest confession might just take the cake—or at least the popcorn crumbs.

While co-hosting Today with Jenna & Friends on Monday, July 28, the former supermodel gave viewers an unfiltered look at her home habits, especially when it comes to eating in bed. Chatting with co-host Jenna Bush Hager, Tyra casually admitted that she and her mom love to snack in bed while watching TV. “We do ice cream in bed. We do popcorn,” she shared.
Jenna, clearly not a fan of crumbs in bed, mentioned how messy that could get. But Tyra had a solution—one that had the audience stunned. “A couple days later, you just clean the crumbs… by eating them,” she said matter-of-factly. Bush Hager couldn’t believe what she was hearing: “No, you do not!”
“Oh, I do,” Tyra insisted with a smile. “Because if you throw it in the trash, you might get roaches. So you just clean it up with your finger—or you just eat it.”

If you thought it stopped there, it doesn’t. When asked about crumbs on the floor, Tyra explained she has a “no shoes” rule in her house, so her floors are clean enough to snack from. “I can eat off my floor. No, but I’m serious, I do that,” she said, admitting her son has started doing it too. “And I’m like, ‘Don’t do that!’ But he says, ‘But you do it.’”

Tyra further clarified that she doesn’t eat just anything off the floor—but some things, like popcorn, get a pass. “It’s like astronaut food. It just lasts forever,” she said. “I’m not joking.”
Even when asked if she’d eat food that had been in her bed for a week, Tyra didn’t flinch. “Yeah, if I knew it was mine in my bed, yeah,” she replied.
