Mariah Carey is coming, and this time we don’t mean for Christmas.

On Monday, the Grammy award-winning superstar announced that her new album “Here For It All” will be released on September 26.

The singer first teased the album on July 20 and then confirmed the release Monday morning on Instagram with another video of her strutting in heels in front of the album cover, including a snippet of the title track with the release date at the very end.

This will be Carey’s sixteenth studio album, following the release of her album “Caution” in November 2018. The artist has been working on this album for several years. In 2024, she told the publication “Variety” that she had been writing new songs for the album.

“I have to figure out which songs I’m going to do and which songs I’m not going to do. But I think I’m very excited about it,” she said.

Back in June, Carey dropped the album’s first lead single “Type Dangerous,” an upbeat dance tune that was produced by Anderson .Paak. She has also released multiple remixes of the lead single featuring artists like Method Man, Busta Rhymes, Big Sean, DJ Snake and Luísa Sonza.

“Here For It All” is currently available for pre-order.
