Antonio Brown Wanted in Miami for Attempted Murder After Boxing Event

Miami–Dade law enforcement alleges Brown punched a man during a melee outside Adin Ross’s celebrity boxing event. They say he then grabbed a security officer’s gun and fired two shots, grazing the man’s neck.
Surveillance and cell phone videos appear to show Brown initiating the altercation and pursuing the victim with the weapon. Investigators recovered two shell casings and an empty holster at the scene, though Brown left without the weapon.
Police detained Brown briefly around 3 a.m. ET, but released him after he provided his account. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he claimed he had been “jumped by multiple individuals” and released once officers heard his side.
The warrant, issued June 11, lists attempted murder with a firearm as the charge. It sets bond at $10,000 and mandates house arrest upon Brown’s arrest.
Brown has a well‑documented history of legal issues and erratic behavior after his NFL career, which included domestic‑violence allegations and financial troubles. His legal representation has not commented.
Authorities continue to investigate.
