The Wake County Sheriff’s Office is seeking qualified candidates to join our agency.

We are hosting a career fair focused on detention officers and registered nurses. The event will take place on January 15 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Wake County Detention Center.

Detention officers and nurses play an essential role in ensuring the safety and security of inmates in our care. We are looking for dedicated professionals who uphold the highest standards of integrity and commitment to public service.

At the career fair, attendees will have the chance to:

  • Learn about the duties and qualifications required for detention officers and nurses
  • Speak with current staff members in these roles
  • Participate in on-site interviews and receive application assistance

This event is open to anyone interested in a career in public safety. Whether you have prior experience in corrections or are exploring a new career path, we welcome all individuals passionate about serving their community.

Time: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Location: Wake County Detention Center, 3301 Hammond Road, Raleigh, NC
