What Stores In The Triangle Are Open On Christmas Day?

Picture it: It’s Christmas Day, and you’re cooking that big feast for your family that’s coming in a few hours. You’re about halfway done with your macaroni & cheese…and then you realize you don’t have enough seasonings! That is a make-or-break moment because we all know that dish sets the tone for the entire meal.
Well, do not panic. Some stores will be open for limited hours on Christmas Day. If you’re looking for a couple of last-minute items, these locations would be your best bet!

Stores open on Christmas Day
- Circle K: Many locations are open on Christmas Day every year.
- CVS: Check with your specific store, as some locations will be closed.
- Store and pharmacy hours vary by store.
- All CVS locations inside Target will be closed.
- Grand Asia Market in Raleigh: Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Day.
- Located at 1253 Buck Jones Road, Raleigh.
- Hmart: Open regular hours from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Christmas Day.
- Located at 1961 High House Road, Cary.
- Peace Street Market: Open during regular business hours.
- Located at 804 W. Peace St. in Raleigh
- Hours: 6 am to 2 am
- Sheetz: Sheetz locations should all be open.
- Speedway: Select Speedway locations are open on Christmas Day. Check out the website for details/
- Starbucks: Many Starbucks locations are open until 4 p.m. on Christmas Day.
- Walgreens: Most Walgreens stores are open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, although some locations are closed on Dec. 25.

Grocery Store Hours on Christmas Eve
If you want to make a last-minute grocery run, please remember that most major grocery stores will have limited hours on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day. Here are the hours in the Triangle area.
- Aldi: Closing at 4 pm at most locations.
- BJ’s Wholesale Club: Closing at 6 pm.
- Carlie C’s: Closing at 6 pm.
- Costco: Closing at 5 pm.
- Dollar General: Closing at 10 pm at most locations.
- Food Lion: Closing at 4 pm for most stores.
- Harris Teeter: Closing at 7 pm.
- Lidl: Closing at 6 pm.
- Lowes Foods: Closing at 6 pm.
- Publix: Closing at 7 pm at most stores.
